BUSSER/FOOD RUNNER

We are a family-oriented marina with a new restaurant, The Helm, opening Spring 2021, as well as, a
happening Poolside Café with a popular delivery service to our members’ boat wells during the Summer
Season. Located in Harrison Township on Lake St. Clair, “The Heart of the Great Lakes”

Job Type: Part-time, flexible work schedule
Position Summary
– Busser: Ensure exceptional customer service by adhering to dining sanitation and safety; maintains
table settings; supports waitstaff in restaurant or poolside; assists hostess / host

– Food runner: double check accuracy of food orders before being delivered; quickly and efficiently
deliver food to guests’ tables to maintain food quality; courteous customer service; assist waitstaff and
kitchen staff in restaurant or poolside

 Capable of working under pressure, multi-tasking in a fast-pace team oriented environment
 Practice uniform dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene
 Comply with health and safety regulations
 Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time; ability
 Capable of lifting and carrying heavy items on occasion
 Shift opening/closing responsibilities
