MacRay Harbor is easily identified by the boating community and on Lake St. Clair, by our 40 foot by 60 foot American Flag.

For the past 3 years; Harbor Members, Military Members and the public, have joined us in honoring America and those who have sacrificed for our freedom, for our Flag Raising Ceremony on Memorial Day at the waterfront.

Our volunteers carry the massive flag with care from Bathhouse 2 (located between Goldie Dr. and Amber Dr.), down SeaRay Blvd., to our waterfront patio where they assist in raising it up the flagpole, where it will proudly fly all summer long.

MacRay Harbor is proud to welcome AMVETS Post 29, and the Michigan’s Fallen Military Wall from Desert Shield/Desert Storm 1990-1991, which will be on display.

This year’s event will take place on Memorial Day (May 28) at 12 PM rain or shine.

If you or your organization would like to participate or attend, please contact Member Services at 586-468-1900 ext. 443 for more information and directions.
